Information and rules of conduct during the Corona time at the tattoo studio

Do I need a negative test?

Yes, at the moment it is required to show an official negative rapid test (max 24h old). Due to the rising Corona numbers, I also ask vaccinated and recovered individuals to take an official negative rapid test prior to their tattoo appointment.
Please email the test result to me directly before your appointment or bring a printout.

Can I get tattooed if I feel sick?

No, if you feel uncomfortable or sick please let me know as soon as possible. You will of course get a new appointment. If you show up sick, you will lose your deposit and won’t get tattooed.

I had contact with someone who is sick. Can I get tattooed?

No. Even if you don’t show any symptoms yourself, you can still carry the corona virus and infect others. If you knowingly had contact with a sick person, inform me in advance so we can postpone your appointment.

Do I need to wear a mouth and nose protection?

Yes. Before you enter the building, put on surgical- or FFP2-mask and inform yourself in advance about the proper use of such a guard. During the whole time in the studio the mask may not be removed or manipulated in any way.

Do I need to disinfect hands?

Yes. Hand disinfection is available at the entrance area of the tattoo studio. Please use it after entering. Nevertheless, the greeting afterwards is more reserved than you might be used to. Please do not take this personally.

Can I bring a friend?

No. Come to your appointment alone, because every additional person represents an unnecessary risk.

Come to your appointment well rested and relaxed.

Do not drink alcohol or take blood thinning medication the day before your tattoo appointment. Hemophiliacs and people taking blood thinning medication should check with a doctor beforehand to see if they can get a tattoo.
Wear comfortable clothing that can withstand a few splashes of ink.
Do not schedule your appointment just before a vacation, if you are going to a region where your fresh tattoo will be exposed to strong sunlight.
If your workplace is exposed to dirt, dust (e.g. plaster, cement, flour), blood, lubricants, oil, acid fumes, acid, high temperatures, chlorinated water, try to schedule your appointment during your vacation.

Yes. However, whether a scar can be covered depends on the scar tissue and what kind of motif you want to cover it with.

In both cases, we have to meet for a consultation to discuss your options.

Only in exceptional cases (e.g. your own drawings) do I tattoo the work of other artists and if so, then only with the artist’s written permission to be allowed to do the tattoo.
